This defect can be seen through a Seam Scope. The body wall will be cracked or broken opposite the pressure ridge. A heavy crease or break is created from the cover curl cut edge forced into the body wall by the 2nd Operation Seaming Roll. This defect is more predominant in aluminum beverage cans and plastic bowls with aluminum covers.
